So we&#8217;ve started a fundraiser to get us going in the community! This initial fundraiser is to get advertising and the timely start to acquiring the building. We&#8217;ve been talking to the Crisfield Heritage Foundation about the possibility of using the Customs House. If so, then when we do our larger fundraiser later, 10% of every dollar raised above the goal will go back to them, with the promise of 10% of the pub&#8217;s profits benefiting them and local charities. The idea is to get the community to have ownership in the success so that the community as a whole can grow and prosper!
